#1 Face-Down Mirror for Vitrectomy Recovery

Letter from Sandra

Hi,

My name is Sandra. I want to thank you for purchasing your Make It Rite Vitrectomy Mirror. My father and I invented this mirror in 1994 following his successful face-down vitrectomy recovery. Thankfully, the mirror has helped many people all over the world more comfortably and successfully regain their optimal eyesight.

We truly understand how challenging face-down recovery can be. Our goal is to help you maintain that essential positioning more comfortably so that you can achieve the best possible eyesight recovery. With the mirror, you can see the world around you, watch TV, chat with family and friends’ eye-to-eye, and feel more connected with your surroundings during your face-down recovery.

Historically, both mirrors work exactly as designed

  • Both sizes of mirrors have worked as designed for over 30 years. The 8” wide is by far our most popular for the more panoramic broad field of view. The 4” wide is also highly effective.

  • Your mirror is yours to keep. You chose to purchase the mirror; it is not a free rental. We hope you only need the mirror for one recovery, but you or someone else in your family may require face-down recovery in the future. You do not want to have to buy it again. It is small and easy to store.

A Personal Request: Please Contact Me First!

Rite Time is a very small family business. Your satisfaction and successful face-down recovery is my number one priority. We pay Amazon to warehouse and ship our mirrors to you. I am the inventor, manufacturer, ensure quality control to Amazon, and am the Vitrectomy Mirror Customer Support.

Returns are expensive and have a significant negative impact on our ability to help other face-down patients. Most every problem, question, and concern can be resolved with a quick phone call to me. You bought your mirror at a competitive, fair, discounted retail price.

The mirrors are proven to work as designed. I am here to help you 24/7 get the best results from your mirror.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me directly by phone or text at 1 800 266 2924 or my cell 480 861 6489.

Best wishes on a complete and speedy recovery!

Sandra

Q&A's - We strive to answer any questions you may have.

Make It Rite Mirror Q&A Videos Green Background.png

Q: I'm having trouble using the mirror. What should I do?
A: Please call us immediately! The mirror is simple and designed to work, but we are happy to guide you. Sandra is available

24/7 to provide personal support at 480.861.6489 (cell) or 1.800.266.2924 (toll-free). We can solve almost any issue with a quick conversation.

Q: My mirror arrived damaged. What do I do?
A: Please call Amazon at (888) 280-4331 for damage issues. Amazon is responsible for warehousing and shipping. All other

questions or concerns, please call Sandra directly. Rite Time ensures the mirrors Amazon receives are perfect and ready to

ship to you.

Q: How do I view what I want to see?
A: Simply tilt the mirror to see the desired TV or person and prop as necessary.

Q: Why is the mirror not adjustable?
A: We made and field-tested a really good hinge, adjustable mirror, but it proved to be too confusing for vitrectomy patients.
The mirror needed to be adjusted and maintained at a 45-degree angle. People very often saw the image upside down. It was complicated to explain how to get to the aha moment. The 4” and 8” wide mirrors have the correct angle and work perfectly.

Q: Why is the mirror not larger?
A: We have made and field tested 12” wide, 6” tall and all kinds of angles. They were confusing and awkward. The 4” and 8”

wide work ideally.

Q: Is this a rental?

A: No, you are purchasing your own personal Make It Rite Vitrectomy Mirror to keep. The price is for purchase, not a rental. The fair and competitive discounted retail price is for purchase, not rental. A rental would cost you more.

Q: What is your return policy?

A: We are a very small business, and returns are costly. Because we are so confident the mirror will work for you, we ask

that you contact us for support before considering a return. Our goal is to help you successfully use your mirror to recover

your eyesight. Please call us first.

Q: Why are the mirrors not made of glass?
A: Very good reasons. Glass is heavy, glass breaks, glass has sharp edges. The high-quality mirrored acrylic plexiglass is light-

weight, almost indestructible, and works perfectly for face-down recovery.

Q: Which size mirror should I choose?

A: Both the 8" wide and 4" wide mirrors are highly effective for face-down recovery. The 8" is our most popular size as it offers a wider field of view, but the 4" works perfectly and is a great option.

5-Star Testimonials

A. Douglas

I bought this for a two week “face down” recovery after retina surgery. Worked well so I could face down and still watch tv or converse with and see family.

Karen P.

I had a hole repaired in my retina and had to spend several days face down. This mirror allowed me to pass the time watching TV while still fullfilling the "face down" requirements. I saw a smaller one at a lower cost but I'm glad I opted for the larger size. It was perfect.

D. Carlin

When faced with the unpleasant prospect of living head down for two weeks after retinal surgery, I was desperate for anything that could help with the tedium and sheer boredom of staring at the floor.. The Make it Right mirror lets you watch TV which helps immensely. Thank You for this brilliant invention.
